Why, How, What?
We’re on a mission to make property investment accessible to everyone — helping people invest from as little as £100, all the way up to £100 million+.
It’s time the housing market was brought into the 21st century, to benefit tenants and investors alike. Using a revolutionary data-driven approach, we’ve created a simple, hassle-free way for people to invest in Britain’s favourite asset class from the comfort of their own home. Backed by the likes of Zoopla and LocalGlobe, we’ve assembled a smart, collaborative team from the worlds of tech, property and finance.
We've recently raised £4.7m in Series A Investment, adding to an already exciting time for the business, as we invest in technology, people and extend our proposition further.
A day in the life of a Full Stack Developer -
As a Full Stack Developer you’ll play a huge role in our future success. Working in a talented, multi-disciplined team, you’ll own and develop our core components as the go-to person for domain expertise and technical requirements.
From design to delivery, you’ll oversee the highest quality features and maintainable code.
You’ll advise and lead on client-side performance and various non-functional requirements.
You’ll participate in technical design sessions and code reviews.
Using industry best practice, you’ll share a wealth of knowledge in building for the web.
You’re good at
Implementing a common server side programming language.
Building scalable APIs.
Using modern browser technologies to build for the web.
The tech stuff
Our platform takes the sting out of property investment, and ensures tenants get better homes. To help us achieve our goals, we’ll need your expertise — including knowledge of React and Typescript (or equivalent), a modern web framework (we use Python / Flask) and CSS frameworks (such as Bootstrap and Blueprint). You’ll need to have experience of following a test-driven approach to development, maintaining the codebase of a rapidly growing project, and working in a deadline-driven, Agile / Kanban / Scrum team.
Our tech team
You’ll be working with our CTO Richard Hodgson, who has spent more than a decade delivering web-based projects for the likes of BBC, Conde Nast and Northern Rock. Richard leads a close-knit team of engineers to deliver achievable solutions on everything from interface angst to annoying algorithms.
